Dallas Chop House Burger (Dallas, TX)

This restaurant is right in the heart of downtown Dallas. Stop, order, eat quickly, then leave.

It's like a McDonald's restaurant without the drive through window.
The burgers are a bit pricey. Not that I mind paying $5.95 for a burger, especially since I consider it a weekly or bi-weekly splurge because I don't eat beef that often.

The $5.95 price does not include french fries, or a drink.
The hamburger is not really big, as a matter of fact it's a pretty small.

There is nothing I love better than a delicious hamburger. I don't eat them that often, and when I do I want it to be scrumptiously delicious.

It takes longer to find a parking place than it takes to order and eat.

I don't think I will be going back here for one in the near future.

My order: Chicken Tenders Combo w/Fries roll & Coke
  • The chicken tenders are soft and juicy on the inside and crispy outside. You can order spicy or regular.
  • The french fries are delicious! Soft on the inside and crispy outside very tasty.
  • The rolls are served steaming hot with a light airy texture and buttery taste.
  • If you order the spicy chicken to tell them not to douse the spice on it.
  • If you take your order back because of an error on their part. Make sure they replace the full order.

We ordered: Hamburger, Fries & Coke

  • Buns are buttered and toasted on both sides, top and bottom. The beef is at least 3/4 to 1/2 pounds with an amazing flavor that you can taste while you inhale the smell.
  • The patty extended the entire width of the bun with mayonnaise, mustard, onions, pickles and cheese.
  • The fries were steak cut and perfectly fried.
  • A coke served in a 16oz bottle with the option of ice & cup.
  • Overall experience was really nice.
  • The hamburger and fries were wonderful and can be shared by two people!!
  • The menu should be more about hamburgers and fast foods instead of the daily specials like complete home cooked meals. It takes away from the hamburger idea for me.
  • More seating along with the sound of relaxing music instead of a television. Get rid of it.
  • A drive through window would be great.
